A Bit of Bathos / 3
This is a curious recording in which Pete Best plays and sings cover songs that the Beatles did in their early days, when Best was still playing with them. The performances aren't terribly good- this is the stuff that a million 50s-60s cover bands do much better- and the fact that there are two drummers suggests that Best can't quite cut it anymore on the skins. I suppose it's an album for the die-hard "Best was better than Ringo!" fans still out there.
