Decent renditions of Beatles classics songs / 4
I saw the movie and decided to buy this CD after hearing some of the songs in the background during the movie. I would say the first 11 songs are really good, especially "Two of Us," "Blackbird," "Across the Universe," "I'm Looking Through You," & "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away." Songs 12-17 though are not as good--those renditions are way too slow and strange or depressing. I'd say the worst cover is "Julia." That band really ruined a beautiful song.
